Like so many other artists, mime actor Carlos Martínez was stopped by the pandemic. So he has decided to explore new digital possibilities, because he wants to reach his audience even in these times.
After a first series of 10 YouTube masterclasses with the title “Mimología” (Mimology), many people showed interest in an online mime course. That is why he has agreed to offer a first ZOOM course, in cooperation with the “Haus der Familie” in Nürtingen (Germany).
In this 90-minute beginners' course, he shows what is important in this performing art. It is the combination of feet, hands and facial expressions that can tell a story (Videotrailer). The feet as an expression of a personality, the hands to represent objects, the face for feelings and thoughts.
This course offers the perfect opportunity to get a first impression of the art of mime and to get to know the Carlos Martínez studying technique. The course is suitable for beginners and advanced learners.
Attention: The seminar will be held in English. The number of participants is limited to 30.
