Illustrated this week is the design for “Time to Celebrate”. The opening night of this show took place in 2007 at the National Theatre in Riga, Latvia, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Carlos Martínez’s professional career as a mime actor. “Time to Celebrate” remains relevant because time goes by but it doesn’t go out of fashion.
Today’s design is connected to "Books without Words". The topic of this show is a personal contribution to the UN’s decision to declare 2003 – 2012 The Literacy Decade. From then onward, the art of mime continues to explore the vast library of books … without words.
